Albany, NY- The Women's soccer team headed over to college of St Rose to compete in a non-conference match. After the battle, the Warriors fell short with 0-4 deficit to the Golden Knights. Milena Ricken and Alexia Masset each had one shot on goal.
In the first half the Golden knights dominated the entire 45 minutes and scored each of their four goals to secure their win. Scoring her third goal of the season was Kamryn Carter who was assisted by Victoria Barris. About two minutes after that Roxana Hernandez helped the Golden Knights to their second goal of the game. The Warriors kept fighting defensively before St Rose broke through the back line and scored. Trying to answer back for Nyack was Milena Ricken but it would be saved by St Rose's goalie, Marika Laurendeau. Adding to the now 0-4 score in favor of St Rose, was Alana Montreal with five minutes left in the first half.
The second 45 minute period was offensively difficult for the Golden Knights as the Warriors managed to keep the 0-4 lead at just that. The Warriors came out firing with two, back to back shots by Alexia Missett and Abisag Ramirez. None would find its way through to the net. St Rose managed to find better possession of the ball as they ended the half with 12 shots over Nyack's 2 shots. Greta Enloe for the Warriors had a shutout in the second half with 2 saves. She also totaled 6 saves in the first half to have an overall tally of 8 saves on the night.
