Benesch Records Career High 12 Saves in Loss to Assumption

Old Westbury. NY - The Nyack College women's soccer team suffered their second straight loss when they squred off with the Assumption College Greyhounds on Saturday afternoon, 0-6.

The Greyhounds scored within the first two minutes of the game to set the tone for the rest of the match. They would add a goal each at the 10th, 30th, and 40th minute mark to mark a 4-0 halftime score.

Assumption added two more goals in the second half to round up the scoring of the day. The game finished with a final score of 6-0. Avery Chance led the Nyack in shots with two and one on target. Freshman goalkeeper Nicole Benesch recorded 12 saves which marks a new career high for the Austrian international.
