The Warriors controlled the starting minutes of the first half and were rewarded with a goal in the 10th minute of the game. A Kaelan Kanai corner found the foot of Janelle Gabriele whose initial shot was blocked but then was tapped in by teammate Amber Carter to get the 1-0 lead. Felician had several good opportunities right after but was either denied by the crossbar or found themselves in offside position. However, in the 34th minute a long cross from the halfway line found its way through both Felician and Nyack players into the box where Danielle Jenkin found the back of the net with a shot to the left corner. The first half would finish with a score of 1-1.
Both teams kept pushing forward in the second half to find the game winner. In the 72nd minute a Camila Parada corner found freshman Lea Zehringer, but her initial shot was saved by the Felician goalkeeper. However, Zehringer was able to find the back of the net when she tapped the rebound in to score the game-winning goal for the Warriors. Nyack was able to defend the slim margin until the end. With the win the Warriors clinched their spot in the CACC playoffs finishing 7th in the regular season standing which puts them up against the Goldey-Beacom College Lightning in the CACC Quarterfinals.
Lea Zehringer scored her first collegiate goal in the win.
