The Nyack College women's soccer team faced off against Georgian Court in a home conference game today. The Warriors fought hard for the whole game but were unable to find the back of the next just one more time losing the game with a final score of 2-1.
In the first half of the game the Lions started off strong with their first shot being a goal putting themselves on the scoreboard at a time of 5:34. In the first half of the game the Lions were able to have six more shots on goal making the Warriors spend a lot of their time in defense. Nyack had only one shot on goal in the first half at a time of 27:24 which was a penalty kick goal made by Shanice Rapp putting Nyack on the scoreboard and tieing up the game at 1-1.
In the second half of the game, the Lions came out of the gate with power making their seconf goal of the game at a time of 50:14. Nyack had two shot son goal in this half, neither of which found the back of the net causing them to lose the game 2-1.
