Nyack Women's Soccer Secures Game Against Bloomfield

The Nyack College women's soccer team faced off in an away conference game against Bloomfield College. Nyack started off the game strong, finding themselves able to secure a goal early on in the game. Although Bloomfield had more shots on goal they were unable to have any that found the back of the net, giving Nyack the win with a final score of 1-0. 

In the first half of the game the Warriors had a total of three shots on goal, one of which was a goal scored by Maria Vargas at a time of 13:12. Bloomfield managed to have five shots on goal, more than Nyack, but none were able to find the back of the net. All of Bloomfield's shots in the first half were saved by Nyack's goalie Nicole Benesch

In the second half of the game, both the Warriors and Bloomfield had three shots on goal making it a very even game. BOth teams were able to hold each other off from scoring another goal. Bloomfield was unable to produce anything promising and lost the game.
