Nyack Volleyball Upended By Pace and Dowling 3-1, 3-0

ROCKVILLE CENTRE, NY - The Nyack College volleyball team dropped a pair of tough matches today in the closing day of the Dowling Tournament, falling 3-1 to Pace University in the opener and 3-0 in the nightcap to Dowling College.

Game 1:
Right side hitter Lindsay Miller collected a team-high 12 kills. Alexus Winters  contributed 9 kills in the losing effort while teammates Kelsi Collins and Paige Burrell both add on six kills apiece. Miller led the team defensively with 4 blocks.  Olivia Denny posted 27 assists and 11 digs for the Warriors. Winters tallied 34 digs for Nyack.

Game 2:
Winters led the Warriors with a game-high 11 kills while on defense Burrell recorded 9 digs. Miller tallied two blocks respectively and Denney contributed with 14 assists.

Up Next
The Warriors will be back in action on Tuesday, September 9th with another opportunity to take on Pace at their Pleasantville, NY campus. First set is slated for a 7PM Eastern Time start.
