  • 15 Warrior Student-Athletes Named to Fall CACC All-Academic Team

    The CACC has recently announced its All-Academic Team for the 2015 fall athletic season. A total of 215 student-athletes from the 14 conference schools have earned a place on the list.
  • Warriors Fall to Cougars in Final Match of 2015 Season

    In the Warriors final match of the 2015 season, Nyack took on Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference competitor the Caldwell University Cougars. After 3 sets filled with rallies and lead exchanges on the scoreboard, the Cougars would sweep the Warriors.
  • Warriors Face Bloomfield in Final Home Game
    November 10, 2015
    Nyack Volleyball entered their last home game of the 2015 campaign against Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference competitor, the Bloomfield College Bears. The Warriors and the Bears faced earlier in the season, where the Bears earned a 3-0 victory. Despite long rallies, and impressive play from the Warriors, Tuesday’s match would also result in a 3-0 victory for the Bears.
  • Warriors Fight and Fall to Felician

    In a Central Atlantic Collegiate College Conference match, the Nyack Warriors fell to the Felician College Falcons in 3 sets. The Warriors fought admirably to prevent the sweep, but were unable to overcome the Falcons in extra points of the third set.
  • Volleyball Drops 2 in Double Match Day

    Nyack’s Volleyball team travelled to make up two postponed matches within the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference on Thursday, November 5th. The double match for the Warriors was hosted by the University of the Sciences Devils. In the first round of play the Warriors acted as home team against the Chestnut Hill Griffins. The second round was a competition between the Warriors and the home host, the Devils.
  • Wilmington Wildcats Win Over Warriors

    After 3 sets of competitive play, the Wildcats of Wilmington University defeated the Warriors with scores of 25-10, 25-13, and 25-18. The Wildcats progressed to an overall 20-7 record, reflecting a 13-3 record within the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference.
  • Eagles Earn 3-0 finish Over Warrior Volleyball

    The Warriors lost in 3 sets to the Post University Eagles Thursday, October 29th, 2015. The Eagles are currently ranked 3rd in the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference overall and are 1st in the north division with a record of 12-3 in conference.
  • Warriors Sweep Concordia Clippers

    Nyack College Women’s Volleyball secured their first Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference win for the 2015 campaign against the Concordia College Clippers. The Warriors progress to a 2-18 overall record with their victory.
  • Tigers Take Volleyball in Three
    October 25, 2015
    Through 3 sets of competitive play with Holy Family University, the Warriors were unable to maintain control of the lead in their final rallies leading to a Tigers victory.
  • Volleyball Fights Chargers for Victory
    October 22, 2015
    Through 4 tough sets of comparable competition and struggle for control of the scoreboard, the Warriors fell short of claiming victory against the Chargers of Dominican College. The Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference competition went to the Chargers in 4 sets.
  • Warriors Fight to Four
    October 18, 2015
    In an incredible fight to four sets, the Warriors were unable to overcome Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference competitor Goldey-Beacom College. The Lightening of Goldey-Beacom College, after losing the first set, would rally to defeat the Warriors in sets two, three, and four.
  • Warriors Go to 4 Sets with Cougars
    October 15, 2015
    In a thrilling 4 set match the Warriors took 1 set from Caldwell before losing 3-1 at the conclusion of the evening. The results would help Caldwell progress to a 15-8 overall record.
  • Volleyball Battles Bloomfield Bears

    Despite an amazing fight from the Warriors, Nyack was unable to overcome the Bloomfield College Bears in their Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference match Tuesday, October 13th.
  • Warriors Fall to Felician

    In an intense three sets filled with multiple rallies extending beyond four opportunities to score, the Warriors volleyball team fell to the Golden Falcons of Felician College in a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference match. Nyack featured incredible resilience and remarkable defense against the Falcons, but was unable to secure a set for the night.
  • Nyack Volleyball Edged Out by Rams

    On Saturday, October 3rd, the Warriors traveled to play Philadelphia University in a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference match. In three sets, the Philadelphia University Rams defeated the Nyack Warriors with scores of 25-9, 25-21, and 25-10.
  • Post Pushes Past Warriors in 3
    September 29, 2015
    In a match this Tuesday, September 29th, the Warriors fell short of victory against CACC front runner Post University. The game would conclude in 3 sets with final scores of 25-8, 25-16, and 25-20 in favor of the Post University Eagles.
  • Warrior Volleyball Topped by Concordia in 4 Sets
    September 22, 2015
    Wednesday evening the Warriors Volleyball team took on the Clippers of Concordia College in a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference competition. Bowman Gymnasium was alive with cheers from supporting fans, but, despite amazing defensive efforts, the Warriors were unable to conquer the forces of Concordia’s offense.

    After 4 tough matches, including two Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference games, Lindsay Miller emerged as a statistic top runner for the Warriors.
  • Nyack Leaves Georgian Court Tri-Match Empty Handed

    After an intense match against Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference rivals Dominican College, Nyack took to the road to participate in a tri-match at Georgian Court University. The tri-match would feature a competition against fellow CACC members, the host, the Georgian Court University Lions and the West Chester University (PA) Golden Rams. Unfortunately, the Warriors of Nyack College were unable to secure a victory over the course of two matches.
  • Warriors and Chargers Battle for Victory

    Nyack returned to Bowman Gym again after playing Mercy College Monday, September 14th, to face Dominican College. Not a moment of silence was to be found as the Warrior fans cheered from the very first whistle to the very last whistle of 4 competitive sets.
  • Volleyball Drops Home Opener to Visiting Mercy Mavericks, 3-0
    September 14, 2015
    After back-to-back weekends of tournament action, the Nyack College Women's Volleyball team took to their home court of Bowman Gymnasium for a non-conference season opener against local opponents from Mercy College. The Warriors would put on a thrilling show during the third match but in the end, would get edged out in three sets and fall to Mercy by match scores of 25-14, 25-17, 25-22.
  • Natalie Anderson Garners CACC Honor Roll

    Last week the Warriors went 1-3 at the East Stroudsburg University (ESU) Tournament where Anderson notched 6 kills, 20 assists, 5 service aces, and 9 digs to lead Nyack with their first win on the season over Bowie State.

    Nyack College battled hard through two tough matches in the final day of the East Stroudsburg University Tournament. The Warriors, unfortunately, fell short of a victory against the St. Anselm Hawks and the host East Stroudsburg Warriors.
  • Nyack Volleyball Collects First Win of the Season

    The Warriors split day one at the East Stroudsburg University tournament collecting their first win of the season. Nyack began their day facing Molloy College at 2pm falling short of a victory in 3 sets. The Warriors would move to take their second match of the day in 3 sets from Bowie State.
  • Volleyball Kicks Off Season at Assumption Tournament

    The Nyack College Women's Volleyball team faced both American International College and Assumption College throughout the tournament in Laska Gymnasium at Assumption College. The Warriors fought through both games, but unfortunately fell short of a victory.
  • Nyack Athletics Captures CACC Institutional Women’s Sportsmanship Award for 9th Consecutive Year
    July 17, 2015
    Nyack captured the CACC Women's Sportsmanship Award for the ninth-consecutive year dating back to when the honor was first handed out during the 2006-07 campaign. The head coaches of each conference-sponsored sport vote for the individual CACC team sportsmanship awards annually.
