How It Happened:
Game 1
Molly's offense came out strong against the Warriors.  The Lions primarily attacked the right side of the court, which made setters' sophomore Olivia Denny (Las Vegas, NV) and freshman Natalie Anderson (Tualatin, OR) two of the top three defenders with 9 and 15 digs respectively.  Nestled between the setters was libero sophomore Kelsi Collins (Tarpon Springs, FL) with 13 digs.  Sophomore middle hitter Lindsay Miller (Chandler, AZ) led the Warriors with 33 attempts, 5 kills, a solo block, and two block assists.  Close behind her was Anderson who, in addition to her 15 digs, recorded 6 kills and senior Annah Aguilar (New Bloomfield, PA) with 11 attempts and 4 kills.  The match concluded in three sets with three matching scores of 25-16 in favor of Molloy College.  The Warriors would take the court again at 6pm against Bowie State.

Game 2
The Warriors came ready to play the second match of the day beginning with an aggressive stance at the service line.  Natalie Anderson earned an ace in most of her trips to the service line and led Nyack with 5 total service aces.  Lindsay Miller made her presence known again leading the offense with 10 kills and 1 block while adding 4 service aces of her own.  Sophomore Alexus Winters (Yorba Linda, CA) contributed 2 service aces to the Warriors strong serving front as well.  The Warriors defense provided ample opportunity for the offense to take such an aggressive approach.  Libero Kelsi Collins led the defense with 12 digs, closely followed by Anderson with 9 digs and Sophomore Jillian Smith (Oceanside, CA) with 4 digs.  The combination of efforts led the Warriors to their first victory of the season with scores of 25-22, 25-14, and 25-22.
