NYACK, NY - In a match this Tuesday, September 13th, the Warriors fell short of victory against Pace University. The game would conclude in 3 sets with final scores of 25-27, 19-25, and 21-25 in favor of the Pace University Setters.

Freshman Hadley Spresser (8 kills) and sophomore Megan Ma'afala-Maiava (6 kills) topped the Warriors offense with combined 14 kills against the Pace Setters. Smith, Ma'afala-Maiava, and Easley added 1 ace each. In a team effort, the Warriors hardly let a ball touch the floor successfully digging 55 of the Setters 109 attempts. Ma'afala-Maiava led the Warriors in digs with 14. Junior Libero Kelsi Collins tallied 12 digs and was closely followed by Kaitlyn Massey with 11 digs.  

Despite the amazing efforts on defense, the Warriors were unable to catch up to the Setters after a first set score of 27-25. The second set concluded with a final score of 25-19 in favor of Pace. The third would end the game with a final score of 25-21, also in favor of the Setters.
