Volleyball drops road match to Caldwell, 0-3

Caldwell, NJ– The Nyack College volleyball team traveled to New Jersey this Friday and dropped a 3-0 (22-25, 10-25, 14-25) decision to Caldwell University.

The Warriors battled hard in the first set, but were upended by a score of 25-22. The Warriors were hitting .241 during the set with 11 kills.The Cougars would go on to win the next two sets with scores of 25-10 and 25-14, to seal their 3-0 victory over Nyack.

Lindsay Miller led the Warriors with a team high 10 kills. Kelsi Collins chipped in 15 digs and Kaitlyn Massey helped orchestrate the offense with 17 assists. Nyack hit .086 in the match with 29 kills and 39 digs, while Caldwell hit .304 with 38 kills and 41 digs.

Nyack will be back in action tomorrow, when they host USciences at 1pm at Bowman Gymnasium.
