Volleyball Earns CACC Win Over Dominican in Three

Orangeburg, NY - The Nyack College volleyball team earned their second conference win against the Dominican College Chargers with a 3-0. With the win the Warriors are now 3-8 and 2-1 in CACC play.

Nyack vs. Dominican (25-12, 25-12, 25-17)

Nyack enjoyed the better start going up 9-5 in the first set. The Warriors held on to their lead and finished set one with a score of 25-12. The Warriors jumped to another 11-5 lead in set two which set them up for another 25-12 win in set two.

Nyack earned an early 7-1 advantage in set three. The Warriors were able to close the third set out as well with a score of 25-17 to win the game in three sets.

The Warriors were led by Kyra Zuhlke with 12 kills followed by Larreya Hayden and Megan Ma'afala-Maiava with 8 kills each.

Nyack will be back on Saturday to square off with the Holy Family University Tigers on the road. The game is scheduled for 5:30pm.
