Zuhlke Reaches Career-High 24 Kills in Win Over Concordia

Nyack, NY – The Nyack College volleyball team hosted the Concordia College Clippers for their homecoming match and came out victorious with a final score of 3-1. With the win the Warriors improve to 10-12 overall and 9-4 in conference play defending their first place spot in the CACC North.

The Clippers edged out the Warriors in the first set, but Nyack came back with sets of 25-16 and 25-11 to take a 2-1 lead in games. In the fourth set the Warriors held the lead for the majority of the game, but the Clippers slowly edged their way back. However, Nyack was able to fend the Clippers off and take the fourth and game-winning set with a score of 25-23. 

Nyack's Kyra Zuhlke reached a new career high 24 kills in the win. Rachel Medin orchestrated the Warrior offense with 42 kills, while adding 15 digs on the defensive end.

Nyack will travel to Caldwell University on Wednesday for a 7pm CACC contest.
