The Nyack College women's volleyball team faced off in a home conference match against Felician University. In a match that challenged the Warriors, they were unable to pull through and secure the win.
The first set of the game the Warriors started off slow losing the first three points in a row. The minute they put themsleves on the scoreboard began the battle for each point as Felician would fight for every point. Mid game, the Warriors were down five points but managed to come bac and tie up the score at 14-14. The Warriors traded points with Felician until the very end of the set where they pushed ahead and won with a final score of 25-17.
The second set of the game was more of the same. The Warriors fought hard for every point but were unable to get on a run to put them in the lead. The Warriors would come back and tie up the score only to fall behind again. At the end of the set the Warriors tied up the score at 22-22 but were unable to earn the points. Felician took the second set with a score of 25-22.
The third set of the game the Warriors started off slow yet again falling behind earlier in the game. Nyack was able to find the willpower to push through and ended up coming back from a five point deficit tieing up the game at 20-20 on a kill by Paige Easley. The Warriors battled for every point and won the set with a kill by Shayna Timson ending the set with a final score of 27-25.
The fourth and final set of the game started with the Warriors coming out strong but halfway through the set lost momentum losing five points in a row tieing up the game at 16-16. Although the Warriors fought hard they were unable to win the set, causing Felician to win the game 3-1.
