Warriors Volleyball Falls to Bloomfield in Four

The Nyack College Women's volleyball team competed against Bloomfield College in an away conference match. Although the Warriors started the game off strong, they were unable to keep that momentum throughout the game giving Bloomfield the win. 

In the first set of the game the Warriors came out of the gate swinging. They bounced ahead of Bloomfield early on taking the lead by five points. As Bloomfield would catch up, the Warriors would go on a scoring run and take the lead again. Towards the end of the game Bloomfield managed to come back from a nine point deficit bridging part of th point gap but was unable to pull through giving Nyack the first set win of the game with a score of 25-21. 

Bloomfiled came out strong in the second set and took the Warriors off guard, grabbing the lead early on. As the Warriors fought to come back, they were consistently two points behind Bloomfield and were unable to brdige the gap losing the set with a score of 25-22. 

In the third set the Warriors started off strong trading points and then taking the lead by six points. At a score of 19-13, Bloomfield went on a scoring run earning back four of their lost points and then again a couple points later tieing up the score at 20-20. Although the Warriors fought for every point they were unable to push through losing the set with a final score of 23-25. 

In the fourth and final set, the Warriors gave the first couple of points to Bloomfield putting them in the lead early on. The Warriors were able to fight and come back tieing up the score at 16-16 with a service ace by British Dawson. In the last couple points of the game, Bloomfield was able to get three kills securing the set and game win with a final score of 21-25 and 3-1.
