Five Warriors Earn Spots On Fall CACC All-Academic Teams

New Haven, CT (January 22, 2013)

Five Nyack College Running Warriors have been named to the fall 2012 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference All-Academic Team, as announced recently by the Conference office.

A total of 173 student-athletes from the 14 conference schools across six different sports have earned a place on the list.

In order to be named to the CACC All-Academic teamrecipients must have participated in a CACC-Championship sport in the fall. They must be at least a sophomore academically and athletically, have been a student-athlete at their current school for at least two semesters, and achieve a cumulative grade-point-average of 3.50 or higher through the spring semester.

Individuals honored by the conference are listed below:

Pamela Code, So. – Business Administration

Samantha Taussig, Jr. – Music Education

LeeAnn Mailly, Sr. – English & Religion (second time selection)

Alethea Brown, Sr. – Vocal Performance (second time selection)

Abigail Frank, Sr. – Childhood Education (second time selection)


The ladies were 5/25 runners in the conference who qualified to be recognized. In addition two individuals from the men's team were honored as well (Benjamin Wallin & Stuart Guild).
