Women's Cross Country finishes 4th at CACC Championship, Nash and Frazer with All-Conference honors

Philadelphia, PA - The Nyack Women's Cross Country team secured a 4th place finish out of 14 conference teams at the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Championships.

Philadelphia University won the team championship for the third year in a row led by senior Stephanie Watson with a time of 19:44.

Post University freshman Kendall Fitzgerald won the individual title with a first-place time of 19:12.4 on the hilly 5k course.

Junior Ariana Nash, was Nyack's first runner through the finish with a time of 20:42 placing 11th in the field of 90. Nash was followed by senior Trisha Frazer with a time of 20:57 beating her previous time of 21:48 and placing her 14th. Both Nash and Frazer were named All-Conference for the 3rd time in the last 4 years. Senior Danielle Wilson, finished with an impressive time of 21:30 followed by Winnie Jepkoech with a time of 21:46, Bornes Jerono with a time of 24:19, and Lydia Chepkieng with a time of 27:51.

Nyack will compete next in two weeks on Saturday, November 5th, at the NCAA East Regional Championship.
