Sidney Gall Finishes 18th at Jack St. Clair Memorial Championship | Men's XC Takes Third Place
 
The Nyack cross country teams traveled to Philadelphia on Saturday, where they continued to push ahead in their rankings. The women's team ran 3 members as individual runners, each who had fast enough times to finish in the top third of the race. The men's team had 5 of 7 of their runners finish in the top 30 spots out of 100 racers, propelling Nyack to take 3rd place overall.

The women's team did not qualify for official placement, but the Warriors still competed 3 runners who gave their best effort as individuals. Senior Sidney Gall led Nyack across the line with a time of 27:31 in the 6K race, running each mile at an average pace of 7:23. Junior Bornes Changwony and freshman Celeste DiNardo finished right with each other at times of 27:56 and 28:09, respectively.
 
In the men's race, junior Zachary Trador continued his strong season by claiming 6th place overall, earning another CACC Honor Roll spot for the week. His overall time of 28:27 in the 8K race was 24 seconds faster than the next-highest place finisher, running the course at an average pace of 5:44/mile. Senior Joseph Girard Jr. finished close behind him in 9th place with a time of 29:27, putting 2 Warriors in the top 10 overall. Thomas Trott (17th), Arthur Scrima (29th), and Kelvin Kiprop (26th) all finished within the top 30 out of 100 racers with times of 30:02, 31:28, and 32:03, respectively. The Nyack Warrior's team score of 79 boosted them into 3rd place.
