Bornes Changwony With Career Best 7th Place Finish

Philadelphia, PA - The Nyack College cross country team traveled to Philadelphia on Staurday to compete in the Philadelphia Metropolitan Invitational.

The men's team finished 6th out of 15 teams, while the women 10th out of 16.

Senior Zachary Trador led the men's squad with a second place finish and a time of 27:39.6.  He was followed by Arthur Scrima with a time of 31:23 placing him 59th, Danson Kirwa with 31:29.4 in 65th, Mason Smith with a time of 31:40.8 in 66th, and Alex Barrreras with a time of 31:47 in 67th.

The women's team was led by Bornes Changwony with a time of 21:15.5 in seventh place. The remainder of the scorers for Nyack were as follows: Celeste DiNardo (23:11.1, 41th), Grace Wells (23:49.1, 53rd), Julia Nelson (25:25.1, 76th), and Lydia Chepkieng (26:07.3, 84th).

The cross country team will be back in action on Saturday, September 22nd when they compete in the Osprey Open in Galloway, NJ.
