Baseball Falls to ESU 7-5 in Wood vs. Metal Game

The Warriors fell Tuesday in nonconference action in a wood versus metal game at East Stroudsburg.  The Warriors would elect to play with wood after the 13 day layoff and 4 CACC games this week.

East Stroudsburg would get out to an early 4-0 lead After the first four innings of play. Nyack would bring the score to 4 to 3 with a three-run fifth inning Thanks to a two-out bases-loaded single by Jan-Pierre Crespo.
 
East Stroudsburg would add three runs over the next two frames to take a 7-3 lead of the contest.  
Nyack would rally with a 2-run ninth to bring the score to 7-5 after an RBI single by Kris Chatman and an RBI groundout by Tony Campbell.
Crespo and Michael Smith would each tally two hits in the losing effort.
The Warriors are set to open conference play Thursday with a doubleheader at Felcian College with first pitch slated for 2:30 PM.
