Larry Vidaurre would bring home Nyack's 2nd run in the 5th, with an rbi single that scored Ryan Kahl who had started the Warrior rally with a leadoff double. Adelphi would add two runs in the bottom of the 5th to take a 3-2 lead. The Warriors would knot the score at 3-3 on an rbi single from John Kennedy, scoring pinch runner Tino Pardo from second base.
Phil Erwin would lead off the top of the 8th with a double, move to 3rd on an infield single from Brunvoll, and score on what would prove to be the game winning single from Jack Hudak in the 8th inning.
