Baseball Wraps Regular Season with 10-5 Win Over Briarcliffe

Pomona, NY - The men's baseball team closed out their regular season schedule with a victory over Briarcliffe College by a score of 10-5 this afternoon at Provident Bank Park.  The win wraps the Warriors regular season record at 22-19 for the 2014 season.

Trailing 4-3 in the 6th inning Nyack would get rbi singles from Ryan Kahl and Hilario Vidaurre, followed by a 2-run double off the bat of Cole Tobin to give Nyack a 7-4 lead.  Nyack would extend its lead an inning later when Ryan Kahl sent a 2-run blast in the left field bleachers to give Nyack a 9-4 lead after 7 innings.  Both teams would add a run each and the game would close with the Warriors taking the 10-5 victory.  

Mike Langston picks up his first collegiate win, pitching 3 scoreless innings and striking out 3 batters.  Nyack would get multi-hit efforts from John Kennedy, Eric Roe, and Kahl.

Nyack will host the first round of the CACC tournament this Saturday at 2 PM at Provident Bank Park.
