FORT WORTH, FL - Warrior Baseball concluded their final day down south in orderly fashion, extending their winning streak to two games with a 9-4 victory over American International College (AIC). Nyack returns home with a 2-9 overall record.

How It Happened:
The Warriors opened the scoring in the bottom half of the second with a pair of runs capped off by an RBI single by sophomore Jack Hudak (Pittsburgh, PA). Nyack grabbed the lead again in the bottom of the fifth with a two-run single from senior Brent James (Seligman, AZ) for the 4-3 advantage but, AIC came right back in the top of the sixth as the Yellow Jackets blasted a two-out RBI double to centerfield for the 4-4 tie.

A wild pitch and sacrifice fly in the bottom half of the frame gave the lead right back to the Warriors who then added a single tally in the seventh and two more in the eighth for the 9-4 final score. Freshman pitcher Jack Kelley (Coral Springs, FL) picked up his first collegiate career win on the afternoon for Nyack (1-0).
