BEL AIR, MD - The Nyack College Baseball team opened up their Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) schedule against Chestnut Hill College at the neutral site of Harford Community College Sports Complex. Nyack would drop both doubleheaders on the road to the Griffins 4-5 and 4-0.

How It Happened:
Game 1
The four runs for Nyack were scored by Tino Pardo (1), Larry Vidaurre (2), and Yoni Rodriguez (1). At the plate Brent James came up strong going 3-for-4 with a 2B and 2 RBI. Pardo and Rodriguez managed the bat well going 2-for-4 with 2B as well.

The game was tied 4-4 going into the bottom of the 9th inning with one out. The Chestnut Hill offense would pick it up with two base hits and a walk-off RBI base hit from Griffin Brendan Lobby to end the game with the 5-4 edge over Nyack. 

Game 2
In the second game, the Nyack offense would be shut down by Griffin pitcher Zachary Crim who pitched a complete game shutout as Chestnut Hill took home the 4-0 sweep. Warrior Cole Tobin threw 5 innings, allowing 2 runs and 1 earned while striking out eleven batters.

Up Next:
Due to field/weather conditions, the Tuesday, March 17th home opener against Mercy College has been postponed to a later date in April. Nyack baseball is scheduled next to take on LIU Post Wednesday, March 18th. The single game against the Pioneers will no longer be a home contest and will be played at the neutral site of Dowling College's Golden Lions Field at 3PM.
