NYACK, NY - The men's baseball team would hold off a 9th inning threat by the Mavericks of Mercy College to hold on for the 2-1 win at Nyack High School. Erik Bussey (Denver, CO) would throw all nine innings in the win, scattering 4 hits and striking out 5 while walking 1.

How It Happened:
Nyack would score their first run on a double off the bat of Cole Tobin (Dover, NH) scoring Tino Pardo (Wanaque, NJ) who had reached earlier in the inning on an error.

The score would remain 1-0 until the top of the 9th inning when the Warriors added a key insurance run on a double off the bat of Hilario Vidaurre (Arlington, TX) scoring Nick McConnell (Edison, NJ) who had singled earlier in the inning.

Warrior Bussey tosses his 2nd complete game of the season, picking up his first win as a Warrior. Bussey allowed 0 earned runs in 9 innings, while surrendering only 4 hits.
