Nyack Women's Lacrosse Makes Program History with Win Against Queens College

Nyack College Women's Lacrosse team made program history today when they beat non-conference Queens College for the very first time. The Warriors hosted the Knights on Moseley Field in a game that finished with a final score of 16 to 9. 

In the first half of the game, Julianna Kranes put Nyack on the scoreboard with a free position shot at 28:12 and scored four more goals for her team in only the first half. At the end of the first half the score was 9-2 Warriors. 

Melissa Clapsaddle started the second half of the game with a goal assisted by Isabella Thomas at 29:32, making it Clapsaddle's third goal of the game. During the second half, Queens College scored 7 goals, a few of which were free positon shots to bring them back into the game. Isabella Thomas scored the last goal with seven seconds left ending the game with 16 points for the Warriors. 

Julianna Kranes led her team with a total of 6 goals scored.
