Warriors Lacrosse Falls to WilmU

The Nyack College Warriors women's lacrosse team played in an away conference game against the Wilmington University Wildcats. They lost the game 19-6. 

In the first half, Wilmington started off strong scoring four of their points within the first eleven minutes of the game. Nyack put themselves on the scoreboard when Melissa Clapsaddle scored an unassisted goal at 16:09. Wilmington continued to play tough, scoring six more goals before the Warriors scored their second goal of the game by Melissa Clapsaddle asssisted by Julianna Kranes. The score at the end of the half was 13-2 Wildcats. 

In the second half of the game the Warriors scored at 27:41 with an unassisted goal by Melissa Clapsaddle. Clapsaddle scored three more goals for the Warriors in the second half. Wilmington was the last team to score with 42 seconds left ending the game with 19 points.

Melissa Clapsaddle scored 6 goals of the 8 shots she made, she also had two ground balls and 7 draw controls.
