Nyack Falls to Caldwell in Last Home Game

The Nyack College Warriors Women's Lacrosse team faced off against Caldwell university in their last home game of the season. The Warriors lost the game 21-15. 

In the first half, the Warriors started iff strong scoring three of their goals within the first six minutes of the game. Jualianna Kranes scored two of those goals unassisted and Jocelyn Wright scored on a free position shot. Caldwell then came back scoring eight goals. Melissa Clapsaddle and Jocelyn Wright scored the two more goals, one at 6:34 and another at 2:10, for Nyack in the first half. Caldwell was the last to score in the first half at 19 seconds on a free position shot, ending the first half with a score of 12-5 Caldwell. 

Julianna Kranes scored the first two goals of the second half, one at 28:55 and the other at 25:56. For most of the second half for every goal Nyack scored, Caldwell scored two. Jocelyn Wright scored the last two goals of the game for Nyack, one at 1:08 and the other at 45 seconds. Nyack tried to bridge the gap of points but fell short, ending the game with a total score of 21-15 Caldwell.

Jocelyn Wright had 10 shots on goal with 5 goals, 1 assist and 2 ground balls.

The Nyack College Warriors Lacrosse team will face off in their last conference game of the season at an away game versus Georgian Court Univeristy. This game will be on Saturday April 27th at 11:00AM.
