Jean-Baptiste Goal Nets Overtime Win Over Felician 0-1

NYACK, NY (October 1, 2013)

The Lady Warriors continue carrying their winning streak to three games after their 0-1 victory over the Felician Falcons this evening.

Having missed two games after returning from home where she was dealing with some very important family matters, sophomore forward Cyan Jean-Baptiste returned back to action & ready to work as she fired in the game winning goal during the 9th minute of an overtime battle.

Her shot came assisted by senior defender Chiristy Degelman.

"After a game delay, the Warriors played a low intensity game against Felician." Coach Oduro stated, "we had plenty of opportunities to score goals but we failed to capitalize on our chances. Our finishing needs to get better! We could have played better but I am glad we came out with the win."

It was an emotional moment for Cyan and the girls when she scored the lone goal in overtime to win the game.

Nyack's Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference record improves to 4-1 (5-3 overall) as Felician, unable to notch their first conference win, sits at 1-6-2, 0-3-2 CACC.
