Losert's First Hat Trick Pushes Women's Soccer Past Wilmington University

NYACK NY (October 26, 2013)

In a home Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference match-up three goals by sophomore Julia Losert would be enough to secure the Warriors another win. The final score feflected 3-2 for Nyack's seventh overall win on the year.

The first Warrior goal was scored off a free kick during the 27th minute. At 32:15 and 43:10 teammate Shaina Tomlin assisted two more goals to Losert and the first half gave Nyack a 3-0 advantage.

In the second period, Wildcats were able to land two goals by Victoria Vasapolli however Wilmington was unsuccessful with tying the match, giving Nyack (7-7-2, 6-2-2 CACC) the huge win.

"Congratulations to Nyack Women's Soccer program for clinching playoffs. Two years in a row," said head coach Sam Oduro.

CACC quarterfinals are set for Tuesday November 5th, 2013. Time & Location are TBA.
