ROCHESTER, NY - The Nyack College women's soccer team suffered their second road loss of the season today in a 7-3 fall to East Coast Conference (ECC) rival, Roberts Wesleyan College on Saturday afternoon.

Inside The Match
In the first period Roberts Wesleyan would score the first goal. Seven minutes later, Warrior Francesca Escobedo (Pasadena, CA) knocked in a goal assisted by teammate Kelsey Labas (Lebenon, CT) to tie the match 1-1. The Redhaws would respond at 32:26 with another goal to take the lead (2-1) and concluded the half with a 3-1 advantage as Bella Mitrevski weaved through the Nyack defense and kicked a grounder to the right side.

The Redhawks would score four more goals in the second period to extend their lead to 7-1. At 71:09 Escobedo fired in a shot off a corner kick, assisted by Shaina Tomilin, to score her second goal on the day and bring Nyack to 7-2. Katherine Oldfield (Bolton, England) would cease the opportunity to make one last goal at the 89th minute for the Warriors as Brittany Cruz (Suffren, NY) sent a long kick over the goal to the right side, but the successful shot would not be enough as Roberts Wesleyan would walk away with the 7-3 victory.
