Inside The Match
The Warriors opened their second conference match with a balanced attack against Bloomfield. The Bears challenged the Nyack backline throughout the game, but Barbarino stood tall for the Warrior team and defended six shots on goal.

In the first half Rebekah Lawler (Forked River, NJ) knocked in the first goal for Nyack by the 13th minute from an assist by Karla Dominguez (Mexico City, Mexico). A hard foul by the Bears resulted in a Nyack penalty kick where Diana Hernandez (Whittier, CA) fired in a shot to the back of the net at 14:39 to give the Warriors a 2-0 cushion.

An open goal on the 36th minute allowed Justine Ndiba to land an easy shot and by the halftime break, Bloomfield would trail by just one (2-1).

The Warrior defense had to work hard in the second period to keep Bloomfield at bay and by the end of the closing minutes, Nyack would come out on top to walk away with the game victory.
