In a rain-soaked battle that reached two overtime periods, the Nyack College Women's Soccer team played to a 1-1 draw with visiting non-conference opponents from the New York Institute of Technology (NYIT).

How It Happened:
After trailing 0-1 for the first fifteen minutes of play, Warrior sophomore Rebekah Lawler (Forked River, NJ) would notch the equalizer by way of a foul kick to tally her first goal on the season at 22:21 and tie the match. Both defenses tightened the screws over the balance of regulation and each 10-minute overtime periods to result in the final outcome of the 1-1 settle. With the draw, Nyack was able to snap the Bears' three-game winning streak. NYIT's Caitlin Appel scored the lone goal for the Bears.

NYIT outshot Nyack by a margin of 19-9. Warrior goalkeeper Jordan Jansen (Mississauga, Canada) played for the entire 110:00 minutes and registered an impressive effort of 7 saves with 8 of those shots being on target. Brianna Bollettiere, also playing 110:00 minutes, recorded 5 saves for the Bears.
