The battle to put a digit on the scoreboard started with back to back corner kicks by Nyack's, Kaelan Kanai, within the first ten minutes of kick off. Neither would find its way through the net. The Bears quickly dribbled up the field with two back to back shots that went wide. As the suspense heightened a potential answer back from the Warriors ended with Alexia Missett hitting the post. She continued to test the Keeper of Bloomfield as she took another shot but it was saved. The Warriors managed to collect the ball at their feet with majority of possession for ten minutes. Within that ten minute span, a shot by the Warriors, Amber Carter, went wide. Following her shot the Warriors were favored with four corner kicks in a row from Jessica Short and Alexia Missett. They struggled to score with each corner. A close call for Nyack came off of a Bloomfield corner kick, but the solid Warrior defense wouldn't let up. Both teams could not score before the half.
Nyack's Goalie, Greta Enloe, touched her first ball of the night with a save from a Bloomfield shot in the first minutes of the second half. Each team struggled with a fouls after foul before Nyack's Goalie found herself with another two saves from shots by the Bears. The Lady Warriors struggled to take the ball up the field as a few miss-shots from Bloomfield still kept the scoreboard at a (0-0) tie. Zoe Mould of Nyack attempted her first shot of the game but it missed wide. Her shot would be the last Nyack attempt of the night before Bloomfield's, Simone McEnough, scored her first goal of the season. The Warriors Fall to the Bears with a (0-1) score.
Alexia Missett of Nyack led her team with three shots and two shots on goal. The Warriors totaled nine corner kicks of the Bears, two. Greta Enloe made six saves on the night.
