The Nyack College women's soccer team faced off in an away non-conference game againast St. Thomas Aquinas College. In a game where STAC dominated the offense, the Warriors were challenged to play defense for most of the game but could not fight them off for long enough losing the game 0-4.
In the first half of the game, STAC started off strong putting themselves on the scoreboard within the first five minutes of the game. The Warriors were forced to play defense for the rest of the first half as STAC had a total of twelve shots on goal in only the first half. Nyack held them off for majority of the first half but began to let up towards the end which resulted in STAC scoring two goals within the last few minutes, leaving the score at halftime 0-3 STAC.
In the second half of the game, STAC brought the same momentum from the first half into the second having a total of eight shots on goal, and scoring their fourth and final goal of the game at a time of 51:24. The Warriors managed to get three shots on goal in this half, none of which were able to produce anything promising for the Warriors falling to STAC with a final score of 0-4.
